
Senior Electrical Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineering (P.E.) license to join our talented team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex electrical systems and controls for essential infrastructure in the water and wastewater sector within Central Texas.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical systems including motors, switchgear, instrumentation, and SCADA controls

Certify all electrical work aligns with guidelines, regulations, and safety standards

Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications to support project planning and execution

Perform site surveys and coordinate with project managers to monitor the progress and trajectory of installations and deliverables

Develop solutions to electrical system challenges with a multi-discipline strategy

Efficiently collaborate with fellow engineers, designers, and CAD technicians to drive comprehensive projects to completion

Lead proposal preparation efforts and development of project costs

Complete requests for quotes, written scope of work proposals, and manage subcontractors and consultants
-
Perform quality control checks on peer designs

Ensure all engineering work requiring an engineer’s seal has been critically examined and evaluated for compliance

Mentor and train junior level team members
Qualifications

P.E. required
-
7+ years of experience
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Knowledge of full project lifecycle from feasibility to construction closeout
-
Strong experience in electrical design for infrastructure or utility-based projects
