Senior Electrical Engineer

SKE has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer with at least eight years of experience in the field of industrial electrical design. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, high-energy, and service-oriented. This position is “hands-on” and requires excellent electrical design skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and design of industrial, governmental, educational, and institutional design projects; facilitate the design of engineering plans from preliminary through construction phases; review plans and specifications for compliance with industry codes, standards, and guidelines; seal plans

  • Communicate and coordinate effectively and professionally with clients

  • Keep projects on track by maintaining project schedules and meeting deadlines in a timely manner

  • Attend project meetings and site visits to monitor the progress of projects and ensure installations conform to design specs


  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

  • Texas Professional Engineer License required

  • 8+ years of minimum experience in Consulting Engineering with knowledge of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, governmental, and educational facilities

  • Client, project, and employee management experience

Marketing Coordinator

S. Kanetzky Engineering, LLC  (SKE) is seeking an entry level position Marketing Coordinator to lead and assist the MEP Engineering Division. Major responsibilities include: 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with SKE Statement of Qualifications; facilitate RFQ/P response; cultivate partnership opportunities; manage SKE's website; update social media accounts; write and place press releases; distribute regular news and manage subscriptions for the firm.

  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, marketing database, tracking systems and records. 

  • Perform research on prospective clients; contact key decision makers within a prospective client who have the authority to engage engineering consultants. 

  • Assist in preparing slides, story boards, and special promotional items as needed. 

  • Maintain project descriptions, project photography, and professional resumes for firm and personnel. 

  • Cultivate the company's overall marketing program; create a marketing plan for the firm that will outline strategies, tactics, and goals that will fuel the firm's success in the future. 

  • Assist Office Manager, as needed.


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related area preferred

  • Minimum 2 year's experience, preferably in the engineering industry

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Compensation is commensurate with background (educational degrees, work experience, professional certifications).
